April 5th Summit
Attending the virtual Journey Within Me versus Me Summit earlier this year was an incredible experience that marked a significant milestone in my life. As a speaker, I had the privilege of sharing my story on an international platform from South Africa, officially becoming an international speaker. The virtual format provided a unique opportunity to create a space where women could come together authentically, embracing their true selves and sharing their stories openly. Being surrounded by so many like-minded women who supported and uplifted each other while listening to powerful, heartfelt narratives was truly inspiring. My experience at this summit was unparalleled—standing on a platform that not only allowed me to tell my story but also encouraged deep self-reflection and connection made the impact profound. July 5th Summit
Last summer, I was honored to be invited by my friend, Diana Sekwaila, to serve as a keynote speaker on her platform, U-empowered Minds Global. The conference theme, “The Journey Within, Faith over Fear, A Practical Guide for Prosperous Living,” set the tone for a gathering focused on transformation and purpose. Sharing my topic, “How Embracing Faith Transforms Grief and Unlocks Prosperity,” alongside inspiring women, reminded me of the power in messages that do more than uplift—they activate something dormant within us, guiding us toward God’s divine purpose. Reflecting on the experience, two takeaways stood out to me. First, true prosperity is unlocked not merely by accumulating wealth or success, but by allowing faith to guide us through seasons of grief and uncertainty. Second, the support and wisdom of a community—much like the midwives who help nurture new life—are vital in helping us birth our purpose without fear of missing out on what God intends for us. This conference was a beautiful reminder that we are never alone on our journey; there are always people and moments designed to help us grow. Believing doesn’t mean we avoid struggle—it’s the strength to keep going, letting grief shape us into wiser, more compassionate people and leading us toward renewed hope- Lydia Ford
